He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2004. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he also completed a combined fellowship program in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Pulmonary Disease.
