She earned her biology degree, summa cum laude, at Cal State Long Beach and her DDS at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She then finished a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at USC. Dr. Ruiz has served as Residency Director for USC’s advanced pediatric dental program at Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County.
