Dr. Shanker N. Dixit, MD, FAAN

Top3Doctors.com selected Dr. Shanker Dixit as a top neurologist in Las Vegas because of his long experience, his standing in his field, and the broad testing he offers in one office. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, an honor the academy gives to members for their work in the specialty. Dr. Dixit earned his medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College and completed his neurology training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. He has practiced medicine for more than 40 years. That long record gives patients a doctor who has seen a wide range of nerve and brain problems.

What we like most about Dr. Dixit is how much his patients can get done in one place. At the Neurology Center of Las Vegas on Professional Court, he treats migraine, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, stroke, and nerve problems. His team performs EMG and nerve conduction studies, EEG, and ambulatory EEG on site. The clinic also offers Botox for migraine, an IV infusion center, care for deep brain and vagal nerve stimulators, and access to clinical trials. For these reasons, Top3Doctors.com proudly names Dr. Shanker Dixit among the top three neurologists in Las Vegas.
