Dr. Sidney A. Edsall, MD, DABMA

Top3Doctors.com selected Dr. Sidney Edsall as a top psychiatrist in San Francisco because of her Stanford training, her board certification, and her research work. She completed her psychiatry residency at Stanford and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Edsall is also a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Acupuncture. She has served as a site physician for Phase III clinical trials of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy through MAPS, and she founded OpenMind Therapeutics, a clinical research group. Few psychiatrists in private practice bring this much research experience to daily care.

What we like most about Dr. Edsall is her whole-person approach. At Quantum Integral Healing Arts in Noe Valley, she treats mental and physical health as connected. Her services include medication management, psychotherapy, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and medical acupuncture. She sees adults with trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and life transitions, both in person and by Zoom. For these reasons, Top3Doctors.com proudly names Dr. Sidney Edsall among the top three psychiatrists in San Francisco.
