She earned a combined MD and PhD in molecular biology from Chicago Medical School. She then trained in general surgery at the University of Chicago and in vascular surgery at Loyola University. In 2014 she opened Northwest Vascular and Vein Specialists in Arlington Heights, with a second office in Libertyville. Her practice centers on minimally invasive vein care, and she has done more than 10,000 laser ablations. She also holds the RPVI credential in vascular ultrasound.
